Ruth CoveyProgram Director Ruth is the President an co-founder of ZETA21 International Leadership Foundation – a 501 (C) (3) established to identify and develop nontraditional leaders. Arizona Magic of Music & Dance, Connecting 1000dreams, Platform Power and Women’s Self-Defense are amongst the programs developed by ZETA21 International. Ruth is a Senior Engineer for a Phoenix-based research and development company. She has more than 17 years of corporate management and executive leadership experience in areas of Quality and Manufacturing. She is a member of the National her Graduate School Masters faculty and has developed and presented Quality Leadership and Mentor programs. |

Celeste KaseburgProgram Manager Celeste has been dedicated to advocacy for individuals with special needs of all ages for 17 years. She began working in this field in Minnesota for Elm Homes. Since she moved to Arizona in 1993, she has continued her efforts with families of children with special needs by providing habilitation training and respite service through Creative Networks and On Angel’s Wings. She also works for The Foundation for Blind Children in Phoenix, Arizona in a preschool setting, working with children ages 3-5 who are multiply handicapped. Celeste was voted “Employee of the Year” in 2003. She is very passionate in her work with children and is committed to providing the best experiences she can to each child. Celeste has a creative ability to provide programming that meets each child’s needs. She recognizes each person, not as disabled, but as someone who learns differently. Email Me |

Sue was one of the people who helped launch the Magic of Music and Dance camp in 2007. Sue will be responsible for recruiting both teen & adult volunteers for the 2008 camps. Sue recognizes and appreciates the fact that the camps can’t run without the volunteers and will do everything possible to help the volunteers have a great experience at the camp. Sue also understands how lives are transformed through service to others of both the volunteer and the people who are being served. Sue has gotten several high schools in the valley to recognize this program as an accredited program for community service hours. She is an energetic and enthusiastic advocate for Special Needs initiatives. In her role with the Arizona Magic of Music & Dance, she oversees fund raising and special projects devoted to acquiring donations, sponsors and support to fill specific requests of our Special Needs participants. “I’m very excited to have found a place as magical as this. Suzy SmallyAZ Magic Camp Director Born and raised in Phoenix. Suzy completed her education here and pursued a career in business operations and administration. Married for sixteen years, currently single with family (mother, three siblings, 5 nieces and nephews) who also live in Phoenix area. She spends her leisure time working with homeless animals, reading, traveling and enjoying lifelong friends. |

Walter GlocklerStage and Set Designer Being a part time Arizonan since 1981 and a full time Arizonan since 2001 I quit working for our family business in 1995 to become a semi - retiree. I am a musician, do some Southwestern art work and also some interior design, I just love to work with my hands. Other activities include running, golfing, skiing and motorcycle riding. |

For seven years, Germán taught in the Mesa Public Schools, spending the last five of these as the Director of Choirs at Mesa High School. Under his direction, the MHS choirs, musical theater productions, and choral students consistently earned top honors at regional and state-level thespian, choral, and vocal festivals. In 2007, the Mesa High A Cappella Choir achieved a major highlight when it was selected for honored performance at the State of Arizona Music Educators Association Annual Convention. Next year, Germán will begin his new appointments up north as the director of the Northern Arizona University Men’s Chorale and the Master Chorale of Flagstaff while he works on his master’s degree in choral conducting. Germán held positions as officer and regional governor for both the Choral Directors of Arizona and the Arizona Music Educators Association. For three years, he was honored to serve as the coordinator of the Arizona All-State Honor Choir. In addition to AZMMD, Germán has also served on the faculty of the NAU Summer Music Camp and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Summer Music Clinic. |

Marsha Petrie SueBoard Chair - Spokesperson Marsha Petrie Sue’s mission is “To give back more than she’s received and connect her head and heart with her mouth.” As a professional speaker and author she is able to do this through her speaking and writing. Having never had children, she is honored to work with Zeta21 and the AZ Magic group. The Women of Spirit Award was given to Marsha in 2007 by the American Red Cross and Morton’s Steak House for her ongoing support of women and children in the community. She has also been involved with Women in the Senate and House, Women of Scottsdale, the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Girl Scouts and many other community services. Marsha has been called The Accountability Master because she dares people to take personal responsibility for their choices, success and life. She is original, unique, and a one-of-a-kind professional speaker and author who is also an accomplished outdoorsman, award winning fisherman and landscape photographer. She challenges every morsel of your beliefs while entertaining and enlightening. Marsha is the author of the award winning CEO of YOU: Leading YOURSELF to Success. In addition, she holds her MBA and is a former Executive Vice President of Westinghouse Financial American Directory Project. Al Sue, Marsha’s husband, really is a boy named Sue. They live in Scottsdale, Arizona and escape the death defying Valley of the Sun summers by retreating to their cabin in the Arizona White Mountains where they are fishermen, birders, and hikers. You can also catch them traveling to exotic places for outdoor activities. |
