AZ Magic Summer Camp
AZ Magic's summer camp takes place over the course of one week. Monday through Thursday participants prepare for Friday’s public production.
Actors enjoy a variety of activities that fill their week with fun and friendship. Throughout the week they audition; rehearse lines, choreography, songs and dances; create production props; enjoy art and game activities; all of which helps prepare them for the Friday public stage production.
Buddies help Actors audition and rehearse lines and choreography for the performance. They also participate in art projects, gross motor activities games.
Adult volunteers provide the infrastructure: catering, video, sound, set design and creation, costume design and creation, and art and game center supervision.
Our FINAL summer camp is now accepting applications for ACTORS, BUDDIES, and ADULT STAFF! Click our FORMS section to fill out an application before MAY 31, 2024!

AZ Magic On-the-Move
The On-the-Move program is AZ Magic's newest venture in creating performance programs throughout the year for both adult and children's groups.
With this program your group will receive volunteers for up to 2 months at a time, working with your adults and/or children with disabilities to put on a full musical production.
Every performance is written specifically for each group to showcase their individual talents and engage their interests.
If you are interested in hiring the On-the-Move program for a performance or more, please contact Ruth Covey at [email protected].

Transitions Actors Guild (T.A.G.)
Under AZ Magic's On-the-Move program, DTA/Transitions has partnered to create the Transitions Actors Guild or T.A.G.
DTA/Transitions is an adult care program enabling those with developmental disabilities to transition into a fuller, more independent life and integrate into the community. Leadership from AZ Magic visits on site at the Transitions' location to rehearse material by way of music, games, and dance. We meet once a week for up to two months; working toward a full performance for friends, family, and the community. |
